Dragons forward Danny Robinson has now set off on his amazing adventure around the World.
With him he has a GAP Personnel sponsored, Raging Bull made North Wales Dragons home shirt, printed with the number 96 on the rear, to show our support for the ongoing search for justice for the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster and their families.
First stop was in Priekstolen, Norway, where the elements were braved to have this photo taken. Apparently there was a sign warning visitors not to go on to the cliff as it was blowing a gale, but Danny who likes to live life close to the edge, went near the edge!
He then made his way to Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, Sweden where he was catching a flight to St Petersburg where both him and #The96shirt have remained until yesterday, we think! We know his last status update on Thursday 10th April was “Drinking gin last night with Russian comrades #goodtimes — at Комендантский Проспект”
The plan ‘was’, he was heading for Moscow yesterday!
We shall post more when his ‘comrades’ release him from their grasp and we know where he is!
You may see him before we do here: cheekybackpacker.wordpress.com
As ever we wish Danny a safe journey on his wild and whacky travels and sincerely thank him for raising the awareness of the 96.
Until next time
